Inchelium Red is what I consider the benchmark for great garlic. It is an Artichoke Softneck Garlic that is great for braiding. It has a strong garlic flavor, but does not overwhelm you. It was discovered in Northern Washington on the Colville Indian Reservation.

It is a medium to large size bulb with 12-15 cloves per bulb. It grows well in warm winter climates, and stores for 6-7 months.
