The leaves are called cilantro (or chinese cabbage). It is used as a garnish in many Asian foods as well as Mexican cooking. The seeds, coriander, is used as a spice. They have a lemony citrus flavor. They seeds have an oil content of around 0.1-0.4%. The roots have a stronger flavor than the leaves and are used in Thai food dishes.


Companion Planting:

You grow them in your garden along with vegetables like lettuce and peas. The Coriander attracts Hover Flies which eat aphids.
