Nora Oats are a great dual purpose oat. They are good for forage as well as grain. They were introduced in 1967 from the State of Arkansas and are considered a Red Rust Proof Oat from the early 1860's. They have excellent straw. A bushel of oats is 32 lbs, and is somewhere between 12,000 - 17,000 seeds per pound.
